Salmon Fillet with Honey-Mustard Sauce

I love horseradish! So SPICY! Goes up your nose and makes your eyes water. LOVE IT! If you have a cold, the sauce for this Recipe will clear ya right up!

When I cook it is a process…I’m trying to find something to watch on TV while I cook, or I am jammin to music. I’m sipping wine sometimes, or texting someone, or updating my Facebook, so people know what we are having for dinner (because I know they care). I’m taking pictures and just being goofy, or bugging Normando. Hmmmm and I wonder why it takes me so darn long to cook, and why we eat so late…I do stuff like this…

Hey Normy what you doing…

Hey I’m #1…

ooh I am having a good hairs day, defiantly need a picture of that…

I have a obsession with this lid and taking pictures with it, because its like a mirror…

Oh crap, I just wasted 30 minutes goofing off, better get to cooking eh…

  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish, drained
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint leaves
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 pound fillet salmon, skin on

Whisk together the mustards, honey, horseradish, mint and 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper in a small bowl. Let sit for at least 15 minutes before using. Can be made 1 day in advance and refrigerated but do not add the mint until just before using. Bring to room temperature before using.

 Heat the grill to high.

Brush the salmon with the oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the salmon on the grill, skin side down, and grill until golden brown and slightly charred, about 3 minutes.

When all cooked take salmon fillet and drizzle each fillet with the mustard sauce.

Dinner is served…

Mustard Mayo

I love my blog. I love posting recipes here, hoping there are people reading and following me and my cooking and passion. I had a friend email me today. My friend Fawn, she moved to Kansas, Before she moved her and I would hangout together and cook and sip wine. I think she liked to entertain just as much as me. I always liked getting together with her and cook together and sip wine and well, act stupid together. When I was working Fawn worked across the hall from me, and that is how we met. She also printed MANY recipes for me. I would find them at work and I couldn’t print them out, so I had Fawn help me out. She also got me these HUGE binders to put my recipes in…. Sorry just reminiscing…She gave my blog a compliment: I do absolutely love your blogs. So professional. The photos always warm my heart, whether they are food or people! LOVE IT!

Shes the one who makes the BEST stuffed Mushrooms, that I rave to everyone about Recipe

It makes me smile when people say hey loved that recipe you posted the other day, or when people try my recipes. Always makes me feel so good! My mother in law texted me last weekend looking for a recipe for Tilapia, I gave her one and she tried it and said it was different, a good different. Always makes my day when people think of me when they need a recipe or need advice on what to cook…
