You can never have too many garlic bread recipes! Nothing better than the smell of garlic sautéing in some olive oil! I use garlic in every meal I make…Garlic is love to me. If you can taste garlic, well then you are tasting the love!
1/2 cup of softened butter
4 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon other fresh herb
1 teaspoon dry basil
3/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1/2 teaspoon dry oregano
1 loaf Italian bread
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Whiz up all ingredients (except bread) in a food processor until everything is smooth and combined.
Cut the bread almost all the way through about every inch.
Spread the butter mixture into the slices. Use it all.
Wrap the bread in foil and bake in center of oven for 15 minutes.
Open foil and allow to bake a few more minutes or until desired crispiness.
Great with pasta!
