Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This recipe was so good. I actually think pot roast can be dry and blah. But this is good! So  good and easy, I sent it to everyone I know telling them to make it! So you should make it too! Today!

Couple of tips: I added salt and pepper to the meat and then I added the soup, mix and water and salted/pepper it again a little and then salted it again before we ate it…Lots of flavor, not too salty…I know the recipe says 8-9 hours on low but I did from 7am-7pm on low and it fell apart and melted in your mouth! And then Normy got home around 4:30 and he peeled 5 potatoes and put them in and we ate at 7 and they were perfect…


2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 1/4 cups water
5 1/2 pounds pot roast

In a slow cooker, mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix and water. Place pot roast in slow cooker and coat with soup mixture.

Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low setting for 8 to 9 hours.
