So when Heather came to see me (yes another post about Heather and my birthday) I wanted to cook for her and bake for her and I wanted to make her Pioneer Woman Recipes as I LOVE HER and I LOVE Heather! SO I felt Heather should taste the love as well as feeeeel it too, and so should her tummy! So I made her another yummy dish!
■1/2 cup Olive Oil
■1-1/2 cup Grated Carrots
Look at my carrot!
■1 whole Large Red Onion, Diced
■2 pounds Ground Beef
■2 Tablespoons Dried Oregano
■2 Tablespoons Dried Basil Flakes
■1 can (6 Ounce) Tomato Paste
■5 cloves Garlic, Minced
■1 cup (to 2 Cups) Red Wine
■2 Tablespoons Worcestershire

■ Fresh Parmesan Cheese
Heat oil in a large Dutch oven or skillet over medium heat. Add grated carrots and onions and cook for a few minutes.
HEY LOOK, I have entertainment while I cook
Make a well in the center of the mixture, and then add in the ground beef.
Did you know that Normy is the “official” meat grounder upper person? NO, well now you do!
Oh look he has an assistant
Cook for a few minutes until brown, gradually stirring it into the carrot mixture.
Throw in oregano and basil.
When the meat is browned and combined with other ingredients, make another well. Add tomato paste
and let it heat. Add garlic
and stir to combine.
Make a well in the center of the mixture and add red wine.
Stir together. Add Worcestershire
and stir. Add canned tomatoes.
(San Marzanos! ONLY the BEST for Heather)
Finally, pour in milk,
and let simmer for 30 minutes to 2 hours—however long you need.
Serve with pasta and a generous sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.
Get you some pasta noodles
and don’t forget the sauce
have a moment with the sauce if you need too
give it kissy faces too
DON’T FORGET THE PARMESAN!!!
or garlic bread
But MOST important don’t forget your friends that totally kick ass, to eat this meal with!
