Steak with Mushrooms, Peppers and Onion

So when I made this recipe I wanted to make some beef kabobs but we didn’t have propane and didn’t think Normy would want to stand out in the cold and grill. So I came up this recipe.

So like a kabob or Skewers You have steak (I used rib eye) and sliced it up

then cube up the meat into bite size pieces and add Lots of Veggies like Shrooms, Peppers and onion.

16 oz White Button mushrooms washed and cut in half

one yellow onion sliced

one green bell pepper sliced

one red bell pepper sliced

Heat a cast iron skillet to high, coat the bottom on the pan with olive oil 

then throw in the onions and mushrooms, saute

saute for 10-15 minutes and then add in the red and green bell peppers and cook for another 7-9 minutes. once cooked set aside

Then let the cast iron skillet get nice and hot again, smoking and then throw steak in and cook for 5-7 minutes or to desired doneness, add peppers when steak is done cooking and turn pan off

Mix beef in with veggies
