Another Jamie Marinara Sauce

on my blog I have the most recipes of marinara sauce! I LOVE to make it! LOVE! I have so many different ones and now I have another one to add to the list!

Take three cloves of garlic

Smash them and peel the skins off

and dice up in to teeny tiny pieces also called mince

Then get a red/purple onion

and chop that up

then get a dutch oven

Place it on a burner and heat that burner to medium heat

coat the bottom of the pan with olive oil

then add in the chopped red onions you chopped before

stir and saute untill onions are translucent, 5-7 minutes

Then add in the minced garlic and saute until the smell of the garlic really comes through 2-3 minutes

stir garlic in

Then get a 29oz can of tomato sauce

and add that to the pot

then do all the following spices all on taste
Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Oregano
DSC_0076-1

Garlic salt
DSC_0077-1

Dried Parsley flakes

Stir sauce

then continue adding spices

Italian seasoning

dried thyme
DSC_0080-1

stir again and then add in

3 tbsp brown sugar

Balsamic Vinegar

stir to combine

add in 6oz tomato paste
and then fill the 6oz can from the tomato paste with water and add that to the sauce as well

Then add in about a pound and a half of ground beef. I had already cooked it and ground it up

and serve over your favorite pasta and top with parmesan cheese
