Things I like Thursday

Happy Thursday to you all! Only a 4 day work week this week YAY for that! But every week at my job is a headache…I need a job where the company cares about their employees not just about how the company and owner can make money! I want a company who takes CARE of their employees! Seems that is unheard of these days! My thought is if you take care of your employees they will take care of you!

So this picture applies to how I feel about my my job today and I think a LOT of people would agree with me…and can relate…

I got sushi on my mind this week! Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE sushi! Whenever Normy and I go out to dinner, he will say to me: Where do you want to eat…and no we are not getting sushi. Because every time I will say, I WANT SUSHI! So this weekend he said he would take me to sushi! A date night! MMMMM – So I found this recipe, It’s not sushi, but it does use raw sushi-grade tuna, so there you go! It also calls for: Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise and I bought some a while back when I went to the Asian market and I have been wanting to use it!!!

This next thing I came across and it made me think of my co worker dummy or Melissa. Sour Cherry Limeade Cupcakes. Melissa likes Cherry Limeades from Sonic! Whenever I go and ask her what she wants, she says: Cherry limeade DUMMY! I should make her these cupcakes!

This next recipe would be great for Meatless Monday! I made it this past Monday and it was so good! So light and fresh! The fresh tomatoes in this just really made it!

You know instead of calling these posts things I like Thursday, since they are mainly of food pictures and recipes I like, I should call them food porn Thursdays, or things I wanna eat or make Thursday…

I love Risotto, I have only made it once and that was when I was in culinary school and it has been so long since I made it. But I would like to make it again sometime…

 

MMMM I want to make these. I am not a fan of pumpkin anything really. But Normy LOVES Pumpkin and so does everyone else I know. Wanted to post these cause well we are getting into fall.
